What activated carbon can't do
Carbon adsorbs by attraction. Short-chain PFAS slip past it. Polypropylene screens by size — it stops sediment, not chemicals. Nanofiber does both: a dense physical barrier sized to capture PFAS molecules while also filtering microplastics, lead, and chlorine byproducts.

What is PFAS and why does it matter?
PFAS are per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances — synthetic chemicals used since the 1950s in firefighting foam, non-stick coatings, and waterproofing. They don't break down in nature or in the human body. They've been linked to cancer, thyroid disease, immune suppression, and reproductive harm. Tap water is one of the primary exposure routes.
How does the nanofiber filter work?
Our membrane is made of stacked nanofiber layers with pores sized to physically capture PFAS molecules. Activated carbon can adsorb some PFAS but misses the short-chain variants; polypropylene filters screen sediment but not chemicals. Nanofiber does both, and the dense capture surface lasts longer than either.
When do I replace the filter?
Every 6 months for typical household use. A Refill subscription ships a fresh cartridge automatically — pick 6- or 12-month cadence.
Does it fit my tap?
The cartridge is designed for Filterion countertop and under-sink housings. Universal-adapter support for common Swedish and European tap threads is in the box.
Is the water safe to drink immediately?
Run the tap for 30 seconds after installing a new cartridge to flush out carbon dust. After that, yes — drink straight from the tap.

What's the return policy?
Unopened filters can be returned for a full refund within 30 days. Used filters are non-refundable but are eligible for our recycling programme — send them back and get a discount on your next cartridge.
What's the warranty?
Cartridges are guaranteed to perform for their rated life (6 months typical, subject to water quality). Housings carry a 2-year warranty against defects.
